Elon Musk’s humanoid genius robot walks on stage
Elon Musk, the president of the American automobile company Tesla, announced the humanoid robot “Optimus” equipped with artificial intelligence at this ceremony. According to Reuters, billionaire Elon Musk says the robotics business will be worth much more than cars.
At the event held in California, a humanoid robot walked across the stage and waved to the guests. Videos were also shown of the robot, Optimus, picking up boxes, watering plants, and carrying rebar at a car factory. In his speech at the event, Elon Musk said his goal was to develop useful humanoid robots as quickly as possible.
He said there is currently a lot of work on the robot Optimus to create a more helpful deal.
Elon Musk counted that currently, these humanoid robots do not have a brain and are not intelligent enough to perform their tasks.
At the occasion, Elon Musk said that Optimus is an intelligent robot that can be produced for millions of dollars, and it costs $20,000 to build, which is smaller than the price of a motorcar.
Before the unveiling, Elon Musk kept tweeting about the robot, saying that the event would showcase advanced technological skills and compelling creators. Initially, Optimus will accomplish humble tasks at Tesla’s manufacturers, including running vehicles with a twist.
Elon Musk says that in the fate, robots will also be used in houses and will be used to prepare meals, mow the yard and take care of seniors.
The head technology officer of Agility Robotics, a company that manufactures robots in the United States, says that as humans consider and work fast, it is inquiring for robots to do the same. This reality will not change even if there are human-like robots.
